The person behind the idea

Although his business card reads Campus Technology Coordinator, Alan Hodson is a master trainer helping deploy several of the EPISD critical projects. Amongst them is the K12LTSP project (Linux Terminal Server Project) where he has helped several schools buy and install powerful Linux servers that then control clusters of 30-60 thin client computers.

A former middle and high school math teacher and overseas school administrator, Alan's area of expertee includes wireless setups, Macintosh servers and Labs, intranet web servers (training teachers to become their own web masters running their own web servers), Open Source software trainer (Mac, PC and Linux), and overall Linux advocate, including dual partition of instructional PCs.
